Golden Visa

Launched in July 2013 the Greek golden visa programme grants a five year residency visa in return for an investment in real estate. There is n o minimum stay requirement and children up to the age of 21 are included in the family application. The visa is granted for five years and renewed every five years if the property investment is retained. It is not necessary to live in the country in order to retain and renew the investor visa. However citizenship can only be granted after seven years of residency.

Agency Fee: 2% (+ Taxes) = 6200 euro

Total: 342,652 euro or 57,109 euro per Family Member

EXAMPLE 2:

New 3 bedroom flat 250.000 euro plus Furnishing

VAT 250.000 x 24% = 60.000 euro

Transaction Tax: Not Applicable for new properties which pay VAT

Transaction Tax 250.000 x 3% plus 250 euro council tax= 7725 euro
